Is SHANKED free?
Yes. Scoring, your WHS-calculated handicap, GPS on mapped holes, your bag and your mates are all on the free tier. Pro adds deeper tools.
Can I play without a group?
Yes. Keep score and track your game solo. Invite a mate whenever you’re ready.
Is this an official handicap?
No. SHANKED calculates an index using WHS principles. An official Handicap Index comes through an affiliated club or authorised scheme.
Can I correct a saved score?
Yes. Correct your card during or after the round. SHANKED recalculates the related handicap and statistics.
What if my course isn’t mapped?
You can still keep score. GPS pin distances and satellite hole views need mapped holes. Golfers can help map courses in the app.
Who can see my rounds?
Use the privacy and sharing controls in the app to manage what you share. See our privacy policy for more detail.
